About Us

PT. Siger Jaya Abadi (SJA) was incorporated on August 26th, 2011 in Lampung, Sumatera, Indonesia. Our primary product at the time was pasteurized blue swimmer crab meat (Portunus spp.) for export to the United States.

In July 2013, we took a big leap and purchased land and factory facilities to manage production more independently. Our company became bigger, stronger and garnered more support and commitment from our stakeholders.

Since 2014 we have actively contributed to the traceability and sustainability of blue swimmer crab in the ocean through APRI (Indonesian Blue Swimmer Crab Processing Association).

Between 2017 and mid-2019 we concluded over 100 shipments to the USA, the UK, Lebanon, the Netherlands, France, Singapore, Malaysia, China and locally in Indonesia. We believe this growth and production boost is heavily attributed to our people from the SJA. With our experts in the crab and fishing industry and the financial industry, we strive in optimal production and financial soundness. This winning combination meets further success with the trust given to us by various financial institutions. In addition, we are Grade A certified by the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) and BRC (British Retail Consortium) Global Standard for Food Safety. We are also Halal certified by the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI).

In 2022, under new management, we engrave a new vision, “to become a reliable global leading ESG (environmental, social and governance) and data-driven company in seafood and fishery”. We have a strong ambition to grow our market in the USA and further expand it to Europe, China and Indonesia. This includes our Seaprime brand, private labels from buyers, frozen fish and value-added products such as our artisan Crab Sambal and Crab Bite (crab mayonnaise). Furthermore, we are working towards smart manufacture, aiming to become the largest and most sustainable seafood company in the world.

We have thus assembled a strong team and an excellent environment that will pave our way towards becoming an industry champion that will benefit its employees, government, community and stakeholders.

Yoga Sadana

PRESIDENT COMMISSIONER

Yoga Sadana holds a bachelor’s degree from the Agriculture Faculty of Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Aside from his strong network in the marketing and finance industry, he has over 20 years of experience in the banking industry, particularly in operations and services, and 7 years of experience in the crab meat industry.

DS Ardyanto holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, Indonesia (2004), a master’s degree in International Human Rights Law from Lunds Universität, Sweden (2006) and a master’s degree in International Business Economics and Management from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium (2021).
Ardyanto has a vast working experience. He worked as a consultant for World Bank’s Justice for the Poor Program and as a data specialist for Bamboedoea Communication to assist in a project by Communication and Information Centre of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (UNDP). He was an experienced legal consultant at law firms in Jakarta before appointed as corporate secretary at a mining service company. He was also actively involved in entrepreneurial and marketing activities in the trading and service industry. Now he is entrusted to lead SJA as our director.
